Former Springbok and La Rochelle centre Raymond Rhule has announced his retirement from professional rugby due to ongoing injury struggles. The 32-year-old, who won the Champions Cup twice with La Rochelle, has been sidelined for nearly two years with knee and Achilles issues. Despite winning seven caps for South Africa and playing a key role in European and Top 14 finals, Rhule has now been medically advised to step away from the sport.
